Healthy Breakfast:: Strawberry Banana Yogurt Smoothie with Chia Seeds

Happy Monday! I hope you had a great Super Bowl weekend, and enjoyed the company, the game, the half-time show, and food. We ordered the Chicago style deep dish pizza yesterday. It was quite good, and I had a few slices... And on Monday morning I felt that I had to give my body a break and kick off the day with a healthy breakfast:: strawberry banana yogurt smoothie. I added a spoonful of Chia seeds to the mix for extra serving of fiber and Omega 3 fatty acids. Prep time is less than 5 Minutes!    

Ingredients for two servings:
6oz low fat blueberry yogurt 
1 banana, chopped
1/2 cup frozen strawberries and blueberries 
1/2 cup low fat milk
1 tbs dry oats 
1 tsp Chia seeds 
2-3 ice cubes

In a blender, combine all the ingredients, cover, and process until smooth (about 30-40 seconds).
